A Typical Day

One of the goals of the Camp George program is to provide a diverse recreational learning experience for each of our campers. Campers spend the majority of the five daily activity periods with their cabin, rotating through the various activity areas of Camp.

7:30 a.m.

Wake Up

8:00 a.m.

Aruchat Boker (Breakfast)

8:45 a.m.

Morning T’fillot (Services) - Mondays & Thursdays
Nikayon (Cabin Clean Up) - Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

9:30 a.m.

Activity Period One – cabins may be booked into one of the many specialty areas, Swim, or TOPS/SCHMOOZE

10:45 a.m.

Activity Period Two – cabins may be booked into one of the many specialty areas, Swim, or TOPS/SCHMOOZE

12:00 p.m.

Activity Period Three – cabins may be booked into one of the many specialty areas, Swim, or TOPS/SCHMOOZE

1:00 p.m.

Aruchat Tzhorayim (Lunch) followed by announcements and song session

2:00 p.m.

Menuchah (Rest Hour) - This is a quiet time for campers and staff to rest in their cabins.

3:00 p.m.

Activity Period Four – Nitzozot and Lehavot participate in either Swim or TOPS. Kochavim and Barak campers participate in Chugim (specialized activity track program)

4:15 p.m.

Afternoon Snack

4:30 p.m.

Activity Period Five – cabins may be booked into one of the many specialty areas, Swim, or TOPS/SCHMOOZE

5:45 p.m.

Chofesh – This is free time for campers to hang out, relax, shower and get ready for Aruchat Erev and evening program

6:30 p.m.

Aruchat Erev (Dinner) followed by announcements and song session

7:30 p.m.

Evening T’fillot (Services) – Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

8:00 p.m.

Evening Program begins

8:30 p.m. -
10:30 p.m.

Evening Snack and Lights Out
